Grandma is sundowning so quickly ever since her husband died in June. I mean, they were together for 74 years. It's not unusual. Our hope is she stabilizes once she's got regular care and a new routine with a community with her. As it is, we go over every night and she's always scared.

If the new POA had revoked previous POAs, then we'd have to go through the government which is a nightmare. We need to get her into a home for long term care, and in order to do this there has to be a POA. With this, hopefully we get her into a home in a month.

Re my grandfather-in-law's estate. Apparently he and his wife made each other POA. I don't know why the lawyer did this. They were 90 yrs old at the time of the change. They're the same age, one day apart. Anyway, it doesn't revoke previous POAs so we found an older one where my wife is POA.

Part of my job requires I send out a newsletter. My peers spam clients with auto generated newsletters every week. I sent out 2-4 a year depending on what's going on that year. I also write my own. Which means I have to actually read every article before attaching it cause most articles are shit.

Dealing with different financial institutions is frustrating because they all have a different idea of what is legal. Some will accept e-sigs, some won't. My issue is when it's both. I opened an account via e-sig but adding my wife as beneficiary, I have to deliver a wet sig? Huh? Pick one. JFC.

If a client asks me, can I retire? And if I am using the reverse method from savings because you can't be bothered to do a budget, the savings and earnings rate will dictate whether you can afford your lifestyle. It's frustrating when I am doing a retirement plan and clients are unable to give me a budget. I've learned to make it easy for myself. I simply subtract how much they save a month from their net income, and everything else goes into one giant expense column. There you go. That's your lifestyle.
