New reporting from The Washington Post revealed that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is erasing data on immigrants with final deportation orders from a searchable online database of detained immigrants. www.washingtonpost.com/immigration/...

Canceling a plan shouldn't come with a catch. We're fighting to make sure it doesn't. Deborah Bradley canceled her dentalplans.com plan. The calls didn't stop, — so she sued for robocalling without consent, violating the TCPA. Now Public Justice is taking her case to the 4th Circuit.

Jail fees are a predatory practice, pushing people with already few resources further into debt. Public Justice is fighting this in several states to make sure people aren't stuck with a bill for their own jail or prison sentence.

The National Plaintiffs Law Association has grown at law schools across the country, now with 55 chapters. In the first year of its job fair, there were 41 plaintiffs’ law firms with around 200 attendees. NPLA’s most recent had 57 firms and the number of attendees more than quadrupled.
