💯💔 I was that terrified, silent girl on campus. Fortunately I was able to confide in a professor at the time, who allowed me to break off from a group project I was in with my attacker. I had to see this man every day on campus and sit in a classroom with him for the remainder of that semester.

For me it started as a child when I remember being told I HAD TO hug/kiss relatives/adults. That lesson taught me that not even my body was my own, and it has taken most of my 47 years of life to unlearn that.
