➡️❤️📖 Another shroom-related tome from the archive - The Sacred Mushroom: Key to the Door of Eternity (1959) by Andrija Puharich. Some classic ESP and shroom lore mash-up from the postwar era... Seems like Puharich is going through a mini-revival atm #mushroom #esp #book ❤️🍄

❤️📖➡️ A classic 1960s novel exploring the ramifications of putting L£D in a town's water supply: June Drummond's 'The Gantry Episode' (1968). Also, a pretty naff bit of praise included about the author on the cover 😂 And no, it doesn't work irl as a method in treated water!

➡️❤️📖🍄 One from the library: Jeremy Sandford's curious book 'In Search of the Magic Mushroom' (1972). The book labours under a strange mix up between Fly Agaric and Psilocybe species, but noteworthy for helping spread news of Britain's own trippy species in its appendices.
