Ah yes, the rare cat/owl/chamelion hybrid that can grip surfaces using pure surface tension of three legs, rotate its head 180 degrees without shifting its shoulders, and would totally just hang there waiting for a boat. Also, the texture crawl on the fur is obvious. #AI #Slop

I think that extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures. Please consider sharing this, as collective action, community, and solidarity is our best hope. Most of our politicians have capitulated or collaborated. It's up to us.

Oh my! Its looking good so far. You have the colors spot on, but you may want to consider the ratio. Porcelain is usually white with blue markings, unless its the inverse.

Some #Canada geese I shot on the New River in #Radford #Virginia. This was a part of my self-care #photography day a few days ago, and is one of my favorites. If you zoom in, you can see the actual geese. I think that the overall feel of the photo is what I like most.

This is a photo of Canada geese on the New River in the early morning, as the fog comes off the water into the cold air. A forest with red leaves on the ground is visible in the background.

I took a little time for me today. Decided I would do some #photography before work and after work for a couple hours, and I seem to have got a couple good ones while I was out there. Here is #Momma #deer under the tree, and the kids off playing.

Duolingo now has a....weird....vibe

A strange combination of a green unicorn with an owl's head. The unicorn's horn is present on the owl's head. The owl-corn has its body facing away from you, prominently displaying its flank and pink tail. The owl's horned head is turned towards you, giving you a cheeky, knowing wink. It is unsettling.

I took this photo yesterday while commuting and thought to myself how ironic it is that I've been assaulted for being gay, and how all it took for straight men to call another man 'daddy' is a hateful old crook and adjudicated sex pest..they even put his face on their pickups...

I find it funny that after a lifetime of being diminished because I am gay, that it took an elderly conman and adjudicated sex pest to compel straight men to accept another man as their daddy... And to put their daddy's pictures on their pickups.

All done making a #ceramic #teapot for my partner. It took me three days, and was made using pinching methods, slab build methods, and handle pulling methods. It will hold about 2 cups of liquid and is perfect for tea for one. #ceramics #artshare #tea

Nick B. (He/Him) @psychnick.bsky.social · 03/01/2025

Started a new #teapot today! I'm going for a small, one to two serving tea size for the lone tea enjoyer. Taking my #ceramics to a more challenging level.

My very first #teapot! It took about 5 total days and is now drying. #Ceramics is so satisfying when you overcome technical challenges. Also, now I have something to show the #artshare community. Methods used for this work were entirely hand-built and pinch-pot. No wheel or gages involved.

In times where the world is a chaotic mess, and so many things are beyond your control, remember one very important thing: you can always buy your cat a miniature tent, and it will make both of you much happier.
