Finished. Turns out that stabbing something a few hundred times with a sharp object is therapeutic.

I don't want my fridge to have a camera or Wi-Fi. I don't want my dishwasher to be smart. I don't want my washing machine to text me. In fact, I kinda miss knobs and dials and knowing big appliances would last 20 years and could still be repaired.

my friend and i were discussing PhDs today (she’s doing one, i’m applying) and we were talking about how fan culture would be a really interesting topic my field is (social) psychology, and i’m hoping to look at moral disgust sensitivity; how we react to non-harmful but disgusting phenomena

Assuming all fanfiction is written poorly really just shows you've never been caught in the chokehold of a 150k slowburn that changed the course of your life at 2:40am written by someone whose username has 4 Zs in it and they only wrote one fic and then vanished like an ethereal legend.

I love artworks where you zoom in and see that they're all erratic paint strokes and brush marks that look incoherent but seeing it as a whole looks so polished and refined and detailed and god I just love art

the vox machina season finale was so good!!! did you know perc’ahlia invented romance?

percy kneeling before vex. his head is tippled back to look at her with a longing expression as she bows her head and cries, his arrowhead gift in her left hand. percy’s own left hand is gently caressing the back of vex’s left thigh. black feathers swirl behind them

hello bluesky!! i never really posted any art on twt (which ended up being a good thing, as it happens) but i want to post stuff on here. i hope it’s okay to post an older piece of mine #thelegendofvoxmachina

Three flat-colour, lineless drawings of characters from ‘The Legend of Vox Machina’ in the style of major arcana tarot cards. On the left, Pike is 17, The Star, with the Everlight appearing behind her as a flaming version of Pike herself. In the centre, Percy is 1, The Magician, and he holds his pepperbox aloft as Orthax looms hungrily over his shoulder. On the right, Keyleth is 3, The Empress, sat in a meadow.
