Software has been measuring productivity in PRs, lines of code written, etc. prior to LLMs. It’s stupid. It’s an MBA-ass way of understanding the problem. LLMs threw gas on the fire. Remember Elon walking into Twitter and assessing engineers’ performance by Lines of Code? Brain dead! Same mentality
