Decisions that affect us should be made with us. This isn’t about placing one form of expertise above another. It means giving lived experience the same seat at the table as clinical, scientific, and policy expertise. And real agency in decisions that affect patients.

On paper, a trial can look robust. But participants do not live through protocols on paper. They live through the real experience, and that does not always fit neatly into the design. Methodological rigor matters. It just does not automatically mean lived safety. #Psychedelics #CllinicalTrials

In clinical trials and practice, safety is often understood through what gets formally documented as an adverse event. That matters. But it does not always capture the full reality of what participants may be living through. #PsychedelicResearch #PsychedelicTherapy #ClinicalTrials #ClinicalResearch
