New rule: You are not allowed to ask for Maddening mode in Fortune's Weave until you've played Part 2 on Hard. I know the FE community so I know there'll still be some crazies who'll ask for it after that and that's fine but I'm willing to bet you most asking for Maddening haven't done Part 2 yet.

Sometimes I think about how in the full version of Full Moon Full Life, the opening to Persona 3 Reload, they include a reference to two Kotone themes in Time and A Way of Life (the wiki only hyperlinks A Way of Life but it's *not* a coincidence that "Time" is used in the preceding line lol).

Re-reading the Toradora manga. Man do I love Zekkyou's art. Between the light novels, anime, and manga, her version of the characters are actually my favourite, design wise. She draws everyone exceptionally cute.

There's discourse for things in FW I'm not going to even see for another like 80-100 hours of gameplay. Like Leda *in general* or paired endings. I've done Theodora Part 1 and Part 2, and the first few chapters of Dietrich Part 1 and I'm approaching 50 hours of playtime. Looooooooooong ass game.

Chapter 5 took me 2 hours and in my test run I wasn't even sure how it'd be possible. I got it done...but man I have never played a more grueling gauntlet of FE maps in my life.

After a 2 day break I finally built up the nerve to do the chapter. It sucked to play just as much as it looked like it'd suck to play. But I beat it. The next chapter, at a glance at least, looks significantly less annoying.

I didn't play FW yesterday because Part 2 maps were so mentally draining the idea of booting up the game didn't feel too appealing, even though I think the story is really interesting at this point in the game. I still have 3 other Part 1s to do but I want to do Theodora's Part 2 first...

If you know me you know I don't fuck with Mario 64 DS. I think its controls are an abomination and I could never get into it as somebody who grew up with the N64 version. But I last tried it when I was 13 so I thought I'd play it again. Still hate it, still controls like ass, but I'm persevering.

Happy 8 years to Torna ~ The Golden Country! Every year I have to reiterate what an amazing experience Torna is. Turns the solid but messy base of XC2 into a more compact but extremely polished experience. Brilliant story, brilliant gameplay, absolutely gorgeous game. 10/10 one of my all-time faves.
