"Hormones play a vital role in the mental health of trans people who need them." Dr Sari Reisner, the study's co-author, told ABC News. "Our findings underscore the importance of protecting and upholding the right to accessible healthcare for trans people."

In 2019, the UK was 3rd place on @ilgaeurope.bsky.social's Rainbow Map of LGBTQ+ rights. Now, it has dropped to 15th place. And that's not just from other countries overtaking - in the last 10 years, the UK's score has plummeted from 86% to 51.88%.
