a majora's mask remake does seem like a no-brainer, but for me its not gonna mean much if the bulk of the 3DS changes are carried over - like the botched zora swimming, watered-down bosses, etc. it will be really nice to see termina in high fidelity, but it will be backdropped by those changes

i might experiment with ditching the name "psi" pretty soon. i don't hate or dislike it but i came up with it when i was like 13 i've been going by "wacko" in a lot of other spheres of the 'net and it weirdly feels more self-descriptive, at least in my head.

DOOM was one of the first video games I was exposed to, and Bobby's tracks have haunted me ever since. Even still, I hear echoes of his work in the FPS games that followed DOOM. Monumental loss, RIP.

Been replaying Punch-Out Wii and honestly I don't buy into the rumour that the stereotypes prevented a new game. None of them come off as overtly hateful or negative. That's just me, though. I'd love to hear some different perspectives on this.

Majora's Mask 3D isn't to my tastes at all, which is unfortunate. The biggest failing for me is that they brought over the same bright Disney-like style as seen in OOT and its remake, which IMO almost completely overwrites the dark, yet saturated look Imamura went for in the N64 version.

It's wild to me that Benimaru Itoh and Toshinao Aoki didn't even get a special thanks credit in the final cut of Mother 3. Even if you despise how the N64 version looked, they still arguably laid vital groundwork for what the character and enemy designs would evolve into.
