They have an age breakdown that has the general trends, but don’t have a bunch of smaller buckets for age. Considering that they’re already flagging some groups as not having a huge amount of data, I think that age specifically would require another study.

Really useful reminder of what evil people actually behave like. I was worried about something similar in early 2025, but pointing out the connections between character, competence, and honesty is an important reason they failed then, they are failing now, and will fail again in the future.

I decided to read some Korean history on my break and I Want Off Mr. Joseon’s Wild Ride.

Text from a book with highlights. It reads:
“In the late nineteenth century Korea had no large commercial cities and no commercial class worthy of the name (which is not to say there were no merchants).
