Picked up this standard gauge 520 at the train show. It was good condition with original paint, clear Lionel Lines heat stamp and just a little rust. Replaced the wires, some cleaning and did A LOT of polishing. I’ll need to replace the glass lenses at some point. Fun project. #modeltrains

Part of my Lionel electronic set. This set was produced in the late 1940s. The set is unique where you could send radio waves through the track to control the train, whistle, uncouple and operate a dump car. It would be another 50 years before Lionel tried again w TMCC.

Jeopardy! Masters is the most humbling game show series. It’s amazing how quickly these contestants can answer some of the toughest trivia questions. I’m convinced the producers have to dumb it down a little for us normal folks so we at least have a fighting chance of answering along with them.
