Well I can't not post the cool pictures of rocks I took

A cavern in a pale green light with stalactites reflecting off a perfectly still pool of water

Two large rock pillars, draped in stalactites

A drapery style formation looking almost fungus like. A bright spot of green algae highlights it.

Doing some #kitbash experiments with shoulder mounted weaponry. The LMG turned out great, the missiles took a couple tries but I'm pretty happy with this result. #miniatures #wargaming

First militia fire team of #Tau Gue'vesa. Honestly feel like they kind of highlight my struggles with big panels and stuff, but I'm satisfied enough with them for now. I've got 4 more similarly kitted ones in the queue eventually. #minipainting #kitbash #warhammer

There's an older piece of RPG media that I really love, but at one point one GM says to another, word for word about a problem player, "You should handle it in game." Kind of shocking but also kind of quaint to see on rewatch a decade later given the improvement of modern table talk expectations.

It's also always fun to pull out on people lore dumping Star Wars, "You know that's from the WEG D6 RPG lore?" And then you can derail the entire conversation to talk about the WEG D6 RPG. The term "Aurebesh" is basically my sleeper agent activation phrase.

The local LGS has a VtM LARP that definitely still runs this way. A GM proudly told my friends nobody would talk to us for months and that certain clans were just verboten in like... 2018. They still run, but I admittedly did not go for that sales pitch.

This is another of my #ttrpg white whales; I bought it years ago, had a group to play it with, we were about to set a date, then the group splintered. I've found new groups since, but I've never been able to put together a party willing and excited for its vibe. Still a fun read!

A couple more MDF #miniterrain buildings, both from TTCombat: the Octopod Skyway and Guard Tower. I tried to find stuff that was a little more dynamic and friendly to mix and match than big bespoke pieces, even if the big pieces were really cool.

Might be a weird take, but I blame CinemaSins style content for this a bit, because it teaches that the important part of continuity is annoying detail gotchas and a surprising percent of the "worldbuilding" content I see suffers from fighting that battle.

So I read Jonathon Livingston Seagull and my brain did this

An image of Sonic the Hedgehog in a textbox. It reads, "Sonic says... You will begin to touch heaven, Jonathan, in the moment that you touch perfect speed. And that isn't flying a thousand miles an hour, or a million, or flying at the speed of light. Because any number is a limit, and perfection doesn't have limits. Perfect speed, my son, is being there."
