It's a completely different kind of oil and this statement just shows how he knows nothing about anything Source: energynow.com/2026/08/comm...
Venezuelan oil already in storage or currently being exported could begin reaching the United States relatively soon, but that is different from rapidly rebuilding the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.
Much of Venezuela’s crude is too heavy and sulphurous to be placed directly into the reserve without blending, upgrading or careful segregation.
Venezuela’s new production will take substantial investment and years of infrastructure rehabilitation, making a meaningful near-term refill highly unlikely.
The agreement could eventually provide a long-term supply stream, but President Trump’s suggestion that the reserve will begin “topping out” shortly appears far more ambitious than the physical realities allow.

I'm not kidding when I say that the Cornell frat

woman of raping them. According to her own
testimony, some of the men were drunker than

no way out of our current madness except by
holding feminists to their own standards.

This is like a David Lynch ending

and the republic said the light you seek is within you, and in the pamphlet

I entered "play minecraft" into the America.gov chatbot and it is weaving the most bizzare, nonsensical story I've ever read Here's where we currently are
Let's go further back.

The seven billion billion billion atoms of the constituent's body were created, long before this
site, in the heart of a star. So the constituent, too, is information from a star. And the
constituent moves through a story, which is a forest of information planted by a Congress, on
a map created by a surveyor, that exists inside a small, private world created by the
constituent, who inhabits a republic created by ...

Shush. Sometimes the constituent created a small, private world that was soft and warm and
simple. Sometimes hard, and cold, and complicated, and due on the 15th. Sometimes it built a
model of the universe in its head; flecks of energy, moving through vast empty spaces.
Sometimes it called those flecks "electrons" and "protons".

Sometimes it called them "agencies" and "bureaus".

Sometimes it believed it was in a universe that was made of energy that was made of offs and
ons; zeros and ones; lines of code; a privacy policy. Sometimes it believed it was playing a
game. Sometimes it believed it was reading words on a screen. Sometimes it believed the hold
music was a hymn.

You are the constituent, reading words ...

Shush ... Sometimes the constituent read lines of regulation on a screen. Decoded them into
words; decoded words into meaning; decoded meaning into a next step, a checklist, a phone
number that actually rang, and the constituent started to breathe faster and deeper and
realised it was alive, it was alive, those thousand 404s had not been real, the constituent

The victim blaming throughout this entire piece is just revolting
That doesn't mean young workers need to set aside their concerns, but it does
raise the potential cost of sitting out the shift altogether. "Al can be pure leverage
or it can feel like replacement," Breitenmoser, the recruiter, said. To make it feel
more like the former, she recommended using Al "to accelerate work, not
outsource judgement."

Steve Yacovelli, a leadership consultant, said professionals build confidence faster
when they move from "random experimentation" to "strategic partnership" with
their preferred chatbot. Try asking colleagues and peers how they're actually using
Al day to day, and borrow what works.

Employers have a role to play, too. Wilke said access to Al tools alone isn't
enough. "People also need the skills and confidence to understand how they fit
into an Al-powered workplace," she explained.

For Gen Z, figuring out where they fit could be the first step.

Ask people to describe Al in one word and you'll hear everything from "terrifying"

"Life-changing" is what one entrepreneur told Linkedln News when we took the

One Gen Zer knew exactly where her apprehension came from: "I grew up

This is a really good article in Politico about the ongoing efforts to uncover any information the U.S. government has on aliens visiting Earth I've always agreed with this point: if it were revealed that intellectually/technologically superior beings existed, it would destroy our society (🧵)
The way Wendt sees it, merely discovering that we're not alone in the universe
will not produce a global ontological shock. But finding out that aliens are here,
on this planet, and they're smarter than us, will. That sheer fact will upend
everything: the legitimacy of national borders, the assertion of governments'
monopoly over national security, the authority of experts, religious leaders,
politicians - upheaval that will ripple through everybody and everything. Not
to mention the possibility of a race to harness the aliens' superior technology.

"It's not non-human intelligence that's the problem. Dogs have non-human
intelligence. The problem is superior intelligence," says Wendt, who is not a
member of the council. "You can't just announce something like that out of the
blue. And I don't think Avi Loeb has thought much about that."

Allow me to PROJECT INTO THE FUTURE for a moment.

It is five months from now, and the midterms are really
heating up.

The Iranian war is long over.
Gas prices are near $2 a gallon.
Inflation is falling due to lower fuel costs.
Wages are rising.
People are enjoying their tax refunds.
Crime is disappearing.
Manufacturing jobs are exploding.
The border is secure.
President Trump just held a wildly successful GOP
convention.
Democrats had no competing convention.
Eric Swalwell has been naming names to stay out of

The MAGA base is excited and motivated.
The Democrats still have no agenda.

Now tell me again how the Democrats are going to win
the midterms?

Since I was not present, I was a convenient target to be scapegoated and publicly vilified. You
recklessly agreed in court that I had committed misconduct without even asking for my account,
fully reviewing the record or briefing the law. That evening, you sent an office-wide email laying
responsibility at my feet for a felony prosecution that you personally directed over my objection
that the case was better suited to misdemeanor charges. You then publicly announced an
investigation of my conduct spanning twenty years. These inexplicable actions severely damaged
a reputation I worked hard to build over decades and have damaged my prospects for future
employment and income.

Steve Deace
@SteveDeaceShow

Yesterday, lowa House Republicans were informed by their own pollsters
that if you are in a +15 district you're within the margin for error, if you're
in a +10 district you're underwater, and that this might end being an even
worse midterm environment than 2006.

I slept on whether to share this publicly, because I don't want to cause
anyone to black pill. But this morning I ultimately decided the truth should
be shared while there is still six weeks left to do something about it for the
good of the country.

Because if the environment is this bad in my home state, where Trump has
been the most popular political figure over the last decade, I can't imagine
where it is everywhere else.

Whatever we're doing or not doing in Iran/Hormuz has become a 2020
Covid lockdown level of political albatross. This is approaching TARP
bailout levels of unpopular in my home state. We are risking what's left of
the Trump presidency on this, because if Democrats take control the
legislative branch the Trump domestic agenda we all voted for will largely
cease between what a Democrat Congress will do and the courts have
already been doing. Not to mention what it will cost individual states like
my own, which we have worked so hard to make so red these last 20 years
(with Trump's help).

Especially after hearing him say higher gas prices are
a small cost to defeat Iran.
I'm now working 2 jobs just to stay afloat. Having to

everything is going sky high in prices.
Next question is why are we dependent on other
