That guy kinda looks like Kronos. He's not that magical canonically, but looks just as heavenly :3

Update: Made decent progress on chapter 2. Still no word from the man himself, but I think I finally have a real idea on the GUI design. Once I do a bit more work on the writing side of things, I'll get to blocking that out as well!

I decided to full focus on the writing side of things over the UI stuff since that's out of my control until Gumdrop Studios gets back to me. I blocked out a couple neat stuff that I may or may not show during the next early access build (is related ofc :3) 🧵

Also, once Seb's new sprites are finished, I can finally update this section of the game page lol

TheBlueFoxVN 🔞 @projectnovastudios.bsky.social · 16/08/2026

Made some progress with the GUI stuff. I won't spoil a lot, but the new menu is (hopefully) going to be a looping animation. Both the game, main, and gallery menu will loop and be in sync whenever you switch between the two. Usually it resets the video when you switch, but I fixed it :3

Why is everyone just radio silent or acting weird around me...? This kind of shit makes me super anxious, which makes writing a visual novel tedious as hell 🥹

Scratch that. The hard part isn't over! Turns out that the people that lived here before us never properly cleaned the house. So the walls have a bunch of colored scribbles and decals from the original owner's kids. So we gotta scrub the walls! On top of that, we have to REPAINT them too. 🫩

Finally, after an exhausting trip across the country, we have finally moved into our new place! Our things don't arrive until later, so I don't have my setup or Internet yet. But it shouldn't be too long! The hard part is over!

Holy shit! Everything is okay again! The house is perfectly fine, and no water got into the insulation through the crawl space because the neighbor didn't mow the lawn. That's right, the fucking neighbor not doing his job actually prevented the water from getting in too deep.

So short update time. We're moving on Sunday, the insurance won't cover the damages for some fucking reason, and we're planning on just buying our own place instead. The original place was handed over to us by a family member that was more than okay with giving us a place. Butt yeahhh...

Officially done with my bachelor's! It's been hard work, but I've loved the experience of being a student. Getting to learn and do things I could've never thought of in high school. I've met so many wonderful professors and peers, and I can't wait to see what new things I learn next :3 1/3

I'm so fucking pissed right now. I was supposed to be moving to South Carolina along with some family members to start the next chapter of my life in a new place. However, I was just informed that there has been a fucking flash flood in that area. And sadly, our new place was affected by this….

To reflect this news, the game page has been updated with their removal from the team. It was surprisingly easier to manage since all I had to do was remove the image, copy the empty space between the other pictures, and paste that onto the uneven space. Now the spaces look evened out as a bonus c:

So I wanted to do a poll on Bluesky since I tend to be more active here, buuuut they don't support polls! We're thinking about doing a Q/A for the VN to help get a better understanding on the world of Exodus, and the universe moving forward. Check it out! x.com/i/status/204...

Most people probably already know this, but VN development will be paused until we settle into moving. Anything being worked on now will still be worked on of course, but after that, I'll have everything on hold until after. This will be roughly in June!

Give this a read. Unfortunate, but I started this project in 2021, and it's 2026. No more delays. Something needs to change.

I didn't want to have to make this kind of post, but I do need to make some kind of announcement. @/ronxt.bsky.social has been removed from the team effective immediately due to lack of professionalism and failure to do the given task after having more than enough time to do it.

Another important announcement!! Unrelated to the VN, but very important to me. A very close friend of mine needs help getting their fursuit back after her money was basically taken, along with most of her belongings. More info here! Spread this around: www.instagram.com/p/DWQoO2MDi6...
