Families across MA are struggling to put food on the table, and too many are hitting roadblocks getting help due to DTA understaffing. Your call can help change this. Call Governor Healey and urge her to boost DTA funding so that every call for help is answered. us06web.zoom.us/meeting/regi...

Project Bread @projectbread.org · 23/06/2026
SNAP is Massachusetts’ strongest defense against hunger, but right now, far too many are being left behind. Understaffing at DTA means thousands can’t get the help they need, and food insecurity has reached crisis levels.

Congress passed the largest cut to SNAP in the program’s history last year, stripping $187 billion from a program that supports 38 million Americans. The House Farm Bill did nothing to reverse it. Now the Senate is writing its own version, and we need it to protect and strengthen SNAP!
