AI or no, schools that make tablets and apps essential to class- and homework prevent parents and children from establishing norms around tech and ensure that parent-child interactions at home centre on managing Google or Apple accounts it's not relevant or exciting, it's just invasive and shitty

Just think of the advantages of listening to an artist who doesn't exist and who you will never see live. Isn't that amazing??

What's sad is that, when you read the rationale behind these pro-life laws, the supporters of 19th-century abortion statutes openly brag about the integration of church and state. They want laws infused with Christian dogma and care not a wit how their perfectionist ideology impacts women.

If you're an adult and a politician fools you by using fear (fear of immigrants, Muslims, transgender washrooms, "wokeism"), you haven't grown up.

When I travel to Europe, citizens ask me the same thing: how could they vote for Trump the second time, especially after the Capitol attack? The reasons are many: ratings-driven news media; brainwashed citizenry; clinging to the American Dream; hypocritical evangelicals; intransigent voters.

Quebec’s bastardized secularism | Opinions
Quebec’s claim to secularism is undermined by policies that selectively target certain religious symbols.

Just imagine what's in Trump's head every waking hour: greed; anger; grievance; prejudice; vengeance. This is why he is to be pitied, and this is why he is a dangerous fascist. American voters in November must decimate the Republican party.

Yes, for early Beatles, this is true, but is this true for all musical trends? The Beatles were a massive influence on progressive rock, but when prog rock groups were filling stadiums in the 1970s, men were the trend setters and taste makers. You could barely find a woman at those concerts.

AI prevents university students from growing up. Reading on their own, writing on their own, and thinking critically on their own. If you're not interested in taking those steps, by all means, buy the newest surrogate AI robot to hold your hand at night and to read you bedtime stories.

I hope Trump gets destroyed in the midterms. Voters need to marginalize Christian nationalists, white nationalists, Islamophobes, apocalyptic hawks, and conspiracy theorists. Right now, too many of these crackpots have access to power.

That's because legal, safe abortions are best for women's physical, psychological, and economic health. Making abortion illegal increases women's suffering. Only an ideologue or a religious fanatic would choose the latter,

But the agents, lawyers, and managers of famous pop stars want to keep the fame and fortune machine chugging along, so there is pressure to stay silent on Gaza. Otherwise, it could be a "cruel summer," and they know "all too well" that their careers could be over in a "fortnight."
