It's up to 3x more expensive to build an affordable rental home in CA than it is in TX, in part because it takes almost 2 years longer to build here than it does other places. As governor, I'll do everything I can to make building housing cheaper & faster so we can bring down costs for families.

I have to say: Chuck Schumer is a weak man and a fool. This was the one cudgel Dems had. Now it's up to the courts which we new from the beginning were at best going to slow some things down. There's 18 hours left to somehow bring additional pressure to bear. It will be really hard to do that.
