NEW: The Supreme Court just gutted the Voting Rights Act, enabling the GOP to erase countless districts drawn to protect voters of color at the congressional, state, & local levels. We detailed each Dem VRA congressional seat that the GOP could target by 2028: www.the-downballot.com/p/with-the-v...
U.S. state map showing states in red where Republicans could eliminate Voting Rights Act-protected congressional districts that are predominantly Black or Latino and currently held by Democrats.

By 2028, Republicans could target VRA seats in:
Alabama: 2
Florida: 1
Georgia: 2
Louisiana: 2
Mississippi: 1
South Carolina: 1
Tennessee: 1
Texas: 2 (Texas Republicans could further weaken another 4 VRA seats held by Democrats that they already targeted in 2026 and 2 seats that Republicans currently hold)
Total: 12

If Trump bombs power plants in Iran, the humanitarian crisis will be horrific. Experts tell me to expect water shortages, closed hospitals, many deaths. “We’ve never had a US president so proudly promise to commit war crimes," Sen Chris Murphy says. 1/ (new piece) newrepublic.com/article/2087...

The NYT straight up reports that Mossad is responsible for fomenting protest in Iran. Congratulations to all who have collaborated. www.nytimes.com/2026/04/07/u...
Besides, Mossad’s intelligence indicated that street protests inside Iran would begin again and — with the impetus of the Israeli spy agency helping to foment riots and rebellion — an intense bombing campaign could foster the conditions for the Iranian opposition to overthrow the regime. The Israelis also raised the prospect of Iranian Kurdish fighters crossing the border from Iraq to open a ground front in the northwest, further stretching the regime’s forces and accelerating its collapse.

“Fuck them kids.” That’s literally what an ICE agent said when ICE, the FBI et al. raided an apartment in Chicago, including with a Blackhawk helicopter, separated children from their parents, and zip-tied them to each other. abc7chicago.com/post/ice-chi...
bangs.

"They was terrified. The kids was crying. People was screaming. They looked very distraught. I was out there crying when I seen the little girl come around the corner, because they was bringing the kids down, too, had them zip tied to each other," Watson said. "That's all I kept asking. What is the morality? Where's the human? One of them literally laughed. He was standing right here. He said, 'f*** them kids.'"

Watson said trucks and military-style vans were used to separate parents from their children. Other neighbors said agents destroyed property to get in the building.

"They had a big, 15-inch chainsaw with round blade on it, cutting this fence down," said witness Darrell Ballard. "We're under siege. We're being invaded by our own military."
