I watched a lot of old tv reruns as a kid, usually while playing hooky from school or be I couldn’t sleep. The Dick Van Dyke Show was a favorite, and it’s ultimately what made me interested in writing.

This is a horseshit take, and this discourse is idiotic. As an interviewer, you have no idea why that person has a beverage. Unless it directly relates to their job qualifications, disqualifying them makes you an asshole. To be frank, if you’re interviewing and this happens, you dodged a bullet.

Had my first session with my new therapist. It’s weird telling someone that I feel like my depression has gotten worse, but my sense of self worth is the highest it’s ever been. Like, yeah, I’m a worthwhile human who’s s good at things and emotionally available. Also my life feels meaningless.

It’s been so long I can’t say for sure, but probably one of these. Though honestly, the combination of The Legend of Zelda game and animated series in ‘89 didn’t hurt either. Either way, I played A LOT of Gauntlet II; especially when I broke my leg in 4th grade.

I semi-regularly deal with an issue called benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV, or, as I like to call it, “the spins”). It comes and goes, is generally manageable, and is mostly just a nuisance. Yesterday it decided to show up and partner with low blood sugar, to ruin my entire day.

I got laid off the Friday before Thanksgiving last year. They acted like it was a big surprise, but I’d suspected it for nearly a year. There was a pattern of behavior they consistently followed when they were planning to lay someone off. It was incredibly easy to notice if you’d seen it before.

QTP with a great female villain! Despite being an ally in The Witcher III, Philippa Eilhart in the novels does whatever she needs to for political gain. As the head of The Lodge, she’d even kill Geralt and Yen to manipulate Ciri into a political marriage. No one matters to Philippa but Philippa.
