Comparison gets a bad rap for being the thief of joy, and if your product benchmarking is off, it’s easy to see why. 😅 Ideally, you benchmark internally and externally to get a sense of how you’re doing relative to your industry and to yourself. Remember, mix it up! Don't get hung up on just one.

You need to regularly check and iterate on your product processes - don't just set and forget them. If not, you end up with a system that’s more frustrating than helpful, slowing you down, creating confusion, and making it feel like you’re always putting out fires instead of moving forward.💡

When you split your backlog into a product backlog (strategy) and a development backlog (delivery), you'll see things work a lot smoother! Why? Because each team can be more focused and it'll feel less like product management vs product development.
