I've been thinking about trying to open up a public Discord server again Last time I did my mental health was in a really shitty place, so I'd like to try again Not a guarantee, just a passing thought

I should get INSANELY into a really stupid piece of media just to fuck with everyone I know. I'm open to suggestions.

Finished Metaphor last night Really enjoyed how the last act of the game was approximately 70% speeches about Ideals and Ambition and Fantasy and Anxiety and Dreams and Purpose and Forging a New Path Ahead and Making a Better Future Way to hammer in your narrative themes hahah /lh /pos

Honestly Atlus has gotten me fully on board for the Persona 4 remake Hearing the battle music again sent a shiver up my spine hahah I wish they waited a bit longer before showing it off for the first time because the initial trailers looked VERY rough and set my expectations quite low

Balatro used to make me feel so dumb but now it makes me feel smart and powerful and invincible

I really gotta say At least for me, the Switch 2 has been the most exciting console release I've experienced for a long time hahah There's so much to look forward to and I've already played so many compelling exclusives for it I love video games!!!!!!!!!!!

ProbablyGoat @probablygoat.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

I absolutely adored the Zelda direct I teared up multiple times today watching the trailer over and over hahah I'm more excited for this than I've ever been for anything in my entire life (I'm still keeping my socials disabled for the time being just to block out the discourse)

At my dad's house for his birthday and there are 6th grade kids here playing Pizza Tower and talking about how "gay" (derogatory) RPGs are It was like the most whiplash I've ever felt in my entire life

1130

ProbablyGoat @probablygoat.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

I'm so determined not to see any spoilers for the Zelda Direct that I bought Balatro for my phone to keep me distracted and am disabling all of my social media apps until I've watched it lol

040

ProbablyGoat @probablygoat.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

It really doesn't matter what the Ocarina of Time remake will look like because about 50,000 people who have never played a Zelda game have already scheduled tweets for the day of the Direct with this image attached

The reason I've been able to have such a lasting and loving relationship is because I beat up my boyfriend and call him names and shove him in lockers all the time

bday sketchpage for my boyfriend!! >:3 @probablygoat.bsky.social

several drawings of addie, an anthro fennec fox character.
1. depicted sitting, wearing a dark cropped shirt, fishnet armwear, and red shorts, giving a relaxed peace sign
2. depicted laying on his stomach, feet in the air, wearing a black hoodie and dark shorts. playing a nondescript steam deck looking thingy, doing a lil blep
3. poorly drawn sketch of him and my own sona maple hugging each other

I think screenwriters for TV shows gotta be more okay with writing dialogue that isn't thematically or dramatically important Having characters just talk and interact as people with interests and wandering attention spans does a lot to characterize them and immerse viewers into their drama imo.....

Metaphor: ReFantazio is like ... Pretty freakin awesome ... It has some of the snappiest and most rewarding combat I've ever engaged with in a JRPG and I'm in love with the game's extremely detailed lore and world building, hahah

I bought the DLC for Donkey Kong Bananza since I loved the base game and wanted to play more It's a fun addition but I kinda feel like I wasted money T_T $20 for what is essentially an extra game mode is a pretty hard sell

Every JRPG ever made would be improved tenfold if you could just kiss your favorite party members. Whether or not it would undercut any tension or narrative themes is irrelevant. Kissing your party members would be an immediate and objective improvement.
