This. I like ts utility types, but it doesn't do anything at runtime. For true safety, there needs to be a runtime validation step.

Directives might make more sense mechanically, but I don't think they communicate what they do clearly. To me (a human), const api = createServerFn(...) shows what it means more clearly even though harder to statically analyze. Maybe an explicit syntax for directives could help here?

Ask where they are going after (lunch/talk/conference/etc). You discover a lot of cool things you can't find on the conference schedule.

It's the only distro that does things in a way I expect it to, every single time. Most of the other ones have 'quirks'.

It is really bizarre how companies started to care about which tools individual devs use. I can understand if a boss suggests an AI workflow at a performance review (while I wouldn't agree). Org-wide forced adoption should need more justification.

I had a similar issue on Linux, and I could fix it by turning off PSR in kernel options. Heard it was related to AMD driver, so probably nothing related to your issue...

Sometimes it is hard to tell if a module is loaded at all. It just silently gets ignored.

I am waiting for the day to come. The day AI says "you are absolutely wrong."

Most popular tools have many haters. I haven't seen many tanstack haters if any!

@kevinpowell.co I noticed you using px as the unit in your latest breakpoints video. Which unit do you recommend for media/container queries? I think I saw you using em at some point.
