I need to do more with Tuvok/Vorik as a loveless pon farr induced marriage where neither likes the other and only Vorik is trying to make it work while Tuvok is thinking about T'Pel the entire time...I love a relationship that's doomed from the start and never improves.

Vorik asks "Don't you think it would be more logical to forget her?" while glancing at Tuvok.

Tuvok responds "It is logical to remain loyal to one's spouse" focusing on an offscreen PADD.

Vorik turns his head and places his arm in Tuvok's way, stopping him. "Then shouldn't you be loyal to ME?" he asks.

Tuvok appears irritated, glaring forward. He then turns to look at Vorik for the first time.

"Children should refrain from commenting on adult matters," he says, using the dialect of an elder to further distance the two of them.

It's #amoktime day and Gia Sandhu's birthday so I drew the two T'Prings as manga schoolgirls - as one does!

SNW T'Pring as a teenager wearing a proper school uniform is shocked to see TOS T'Pring wearing her uniform quite fashionably (and improperly). She has on makeup, her jacket is cropped, her skirt is too short, she has attached a popular charm to her bag, and is wearing heeled shoes instead of loafers. TOS T'Pring raises an eyebrow.

More T'Pring. Old novels try so hard to make me think she's evil but instead I'm asking myself what would make a(n especially Vulcan) child noticeably 'cold' or 'manipulative' and the answers I'm coming up with are quite sad.

Excerpt from the novel 'Sarek' by A.C Crispin wherein Amanda says "I don't like her. That child is...I don't know. She's too polite, too...calculating. There's something...cold...about her."

A small comic is depicted below it showing T'Pring, a six year old, being given a ball by Amanda. She does not emote except to look at the ball and then at Amanda. The following exchange takes place.

"Do you like the ball, T'Pring~?"

"Yes. Thank you ma'am. It is very kind of you."

"You don't have to say you like it if you don't, sweetheart!"

"I like it. I have always wanted a ball just like this. Thank you. You are very kind and beautiful miss Amanda. Spock is fortunate to have a mother like you. No matter what others may say, I believe that you are a good person."

I wrote a fic awhile ago where T'Pring mentioned her parents not allowing her to have sweets as a child so here's some happy[ish] T'Pring art! She can eat whatever she wants as an adult!

Adult T'Pring eats a slice of cake while looking at a child version of herself. The child stares at the cake with a pained, nervous expression.

T'Pring tells the child version of her "It is alright."
The child takes a tentative bite then perks up as she chews, relishing the taste.

Fun puppet episode! Imagine your ex fiancée having a romantic dream about you where you're a puppet that loves and is explicitly "useful" to him after hallucinating you as a repentant harpy sent to torture him on a ghost ship. The relationship ended because of him by the way. Why is Spock like this?

T'Pring as a puppet on Spock's arm which extends into the shadows. Speech bubbles float around her head saying "I'll help you Spock. I'm sorry Spock. I love you Spock. Kiss me Spock." which appear like they're coming from T'Pring's mouth but upon closer inspection their tails reach into the darkness, coming from an unseen Spock.

Pike continues to be so...so grating. He doesn't even feel like a captain. Also La'An and Spock breaking up...Least consequential relationship in history. Why'd we do all that?? Spock continues to be terrible at romantic relationships. This episode wants so badly for me to think it's fun.

I like horror so I liked the vibe of The Griffith Incident but the whole time it felt more like a haunted house than a horror movie. So many things felt like they didn't connect or matter at all which is to be expected from SNW at this point but also always a shame.

If I were on Voyager's writing team we would've had some eps of Kes & Tuvok getting up to some truly weird shit. You go to the airponics bay and they're growing something in a sac attached to the wall. This will help Kes' telepathic abilities. Neither gets why you're freaking out. Don't touch it.
