The Association of Leading Visitor Attractions (ALVA) published their 2025 visitor figures yesterday, showing that @ox.ac.uk Gardens, Libraries & Museums (GLAM) welcomed a record 3.8 million visitors last year, up 7% from 2024. Pitt Rivers Museum welcomed 519,952 visitors, our highest ever number! 👏

A week full of historical moments. 24 Naga delegates traveled to @pittriversmuseum.bsky.social to work with us to decide on the future care of 41 ancestral remains in the Museum’s care. Yesterday they made the Naga Oxford declaration on repatriation as part of a process of healing and wholeness.
