Apologies for the quiet! My attention has been focused towards a traditional art event I have coming up in Sept. Not to mention, this current heatwave makes it impossible to work upstairs in my craft room. Fur work will resume with "extra furver" mid-Sept after the event. 🐶🌡️ Stay hydrated! 💦

That's true but it does decrease the pathogens and the onus then is on sourcing reputable brands that test their batches. It was just a suggestion. My thoughts are that any food comes with a risk dependant on handling. The safest presumably would be to give live food, not a very practical option.

I don't know anything about ferrets but when looking for a raw food diet for my very fussy cat, I came across freeze dried raw food. Perhaps that would help, I believe it also has egg in it.
