Now for the costume contest winner: Ditto! The theme was full moon and/or shapeshifters and sci-fi. I was the odd man out, but who else is the (near) perfect shapeshifter but Mew's clone? I was heavily inspired by the creepy Ditto people in Detective Pikachu, and obviously, Pokopia.

Selfie of my Ditto cosplay with the caption "Pretty sure this would NOT be featured in Pokopia". I've got a Pokemon Trainer shirt, a Pikachu beanie with crocheted purple hair pinned in, round black eye prosthetics, and a Scyther claw.

Photo taken of my Ditto cosplay while sitting at the ticket counter. Now you can see red shorts, a Drilbur claw on my other hand, and a painted Pokeball tattoo on my arm.

Photo of my Ditto cosplay taken during the parade/voting part of the contest. I have sunglasses on, like the Dittos in Detective Pikachu, to hide the eye prosthetics.

Dramatic reveal! I took off the sunglasses with my claw hands to reveal the Ditto eye prosthetics.

I got some pictures back from the fair a couple weekends ago, so today, I present to you: The Monster! He was never green to begin with, and no neck bolts. Those were popularized in movies. I tried to go for somewhat accurate with jaundiced skin and veins, but couldn't help but have different eyes.

Selfie of my Frankenstein's monster makeup with yellowed skin; stitches across my forehead, cheeks, chin, and neck; blue and red lines meant to be veins and arteries; and a yellow right eye and blue left eye. I hadn't added the black lip yet, my hair is wavy and slicked back, and my heart earring is visible (pitchfork earring is not). The caption says "It's pronounced Dr. Frahn-kuhn-STEEN, thank you" in reference to Young Frankenstein

Photo of me handing out lanyards, which gives a great look at the wrist and arm stitches and vein details. I did paint my arms and chest for this! The pitchfork earring is showing on this side.

Photo of me standing with my hands together and looking off at something, probably listening to someone. There's a booth beside me and one behind me. Body paint details are also somewhat seen here.

Portrait shot of me sitting at the ticket counter with supplies in the background. I touched up the black lip before the shot, and I'm sort of smizing at the camera.

Couldn't make time to stream this morning, so I'm aiming for tomorrow morning - I haven't forgotten! In the meantime, here's some casual non-costume fun makeup looks I've done recently. I'm getting faster and more efficient! I don't know what to work on next, so I may bring a cross-stitch with me.

Makeup - light to dark blue gradient eye with a white and yellow under eyeliner, short brown eyebrows, yellow highlight, and a lemon slice drawn on my cheek. I wanted to match my blue and lemon themed sundress, and wore my fairy wing cuff earrings to go with it. My mostly blond-yellow hair sort of fits the look!

Very subtle rainbow under eyeliner, going from red-orange to light purple, with pink inner corners and a black waterline, blue-pink highlighter, tan/neutral lip, and green eyebrows to match my hair. I used all Pokemon or Sailor Moon Colourpop products for this Eeveelution inspired casual look, with my Eeveelution t-shirt and rainbow swirl earrings.

Mushroom inspired makeup with red blush, white freckles, green eyeliner, and green eyebrows to match my hair. I'm wearing a mushroom print shirt with mushroom and frog pins, fairy frog father earrings, a crochet frog clipped to my hair, and my Amanita candy bracelet.

I was able to borrow Sussie Bird for a couple of photos! More like, my niece wasn't there to protest 😅 I found this free pattern on a Reddit thread, credits to @calrais.mkx I had to make a couple of adjustments on stream, so I'll reach out with my notes to see if I miscounted, or if there's a typo.

I'm coming home, but probably won't be streaming tonight, so - I forgot to post photos from my last fair! I redid Loki with JJBA makeup and a skirt on Friday (no full body selfies, sorry!), was a Dionysus-themed satyr for the first time on Saturday, and tried my hand at DnD's Tiamat on Sunday.

Selfie of my traditional Loki costume and braided orange wig with JJBA styled makeup and yellow eye contacts, posed with my hand below my face, ignore the slipping wig and hairline lmao

Close-up/selfie of my satyr costume with short horns, yellow eye contacts, faun makeup with purple and leopard spots where the brown and white spots would go, drawn on goatee, grape earrings, and a banana button-up shirt

Full body photo of the satyr costume with the black fur pants (with a short tail) and hoof shoes and socks visible. I have a grapevine sash and staff (unseen behind me), and I'm posing while looking over my shoulder to show off the tail and pants better.

Upper body photo of my Tiamat costume with a braided black wig, beaded dress and harness, sword earrings, and rose and horns headband. The makeup is hard to see, but there are five colored scale stripes on my face where Tiamat's five heads would be, with yellow eyes and a slit snake nose. I'm dangling a gold dragon pin from one hand - meant to represent Bahamut

Bad news, I don't think I'll be able to stream while I'm out of state, and I worked all open-close shifts before leaving. So instead, I'll post projects and makeup while I'm away! Here's Derpy - made on stream as a present for my niece. I didn't get photos of Sussie, so I'll try to borrow him.

Happy Pride, everyone!! To celebrate, I'm crocheting LGBT+ characters from video games. I don't want to do rainbows or anything too gimmicky - I want to keep it nerdy and a little informational too! I'm kicking it off with Birdo from the Mario series - canonically transfemme. Taking suggestions!

Another project down! Who's that Pokemon? It's Litwick! I came up with my own pattern for him, so I'll have to format it and post it somewhere. I wish the glow in the dark yarn showed well on camera, but these photos will suffice. He's a birthday present, and I hope he's well loved ❤️

I'm about to sort through my yarn stash and plan future projects for streams, once I'm done with the baby blanket. So, how about you help me decide? Should the next live project be: 1. A plushie 2. Something wearable 3. A blanket 4. Something else? Let's choose a category and then narrow it down!

Today, I feel like a Fire-type Pokemon trainer on vacation in Alola, so I thought to take a selfie. I've got too much free time right now, so why not play with more Pokemon themed makeup and outfits? I forgot to post photos from Naka, so here's my Gengar, Darkrai, and Sylveon themed outfits too!

Selfie with a Hawaiian shirt, orange-red blush, orange-gold eye makeup, blue eye contacts, and fire shaped earrings. I've got a Fuecoco plush with me!

Mega Gengar outfit selfie with a purple shirt, black skirt, Gengar themed Switch 2 bag, headband with horns, and a third eye drawn on with makeup

Darkrai outfit photo with a red scarf, armor, face mask, and tattered cape and skirt. I tried to JoJo pose with a Darkrai plush in my hand. The window behind me reflects the crowd at the Pokemon photoshoot!

Sylveon themed photo with a pink and blue witch styled dress, hat, and cape. I have a pink wig to match, and I'm posing with Eevee and Sylveon plushies in my arms.

I had to finish this gift offline, but here it is! She's seen the hat since I made some pattern edits to her liking, but she hasn't seen the little charm and cinch I've added yet. I hope it's perfect! I'll probably finish the baby blanket on stream now, but let me know what you'd like to see!

I'm still working on the star baby blanket, but I have considerations for things to work on or display later. This chaotic project is my Pokedex blanket - so far only planned for Gen 1! I'm using a temperature blanket style system, with typing to decide colors, dual stranded for this reason.

The beginning chain is red and blue, and it currently spans from Bulbasaur (top) to Zubat (bottom)

I'm streaming the process of making this baby blanket! I have to have it done by tomorrow morning for a baby shower, but I have to get more comfortable in front of a camera, and it's keeping me on task. Not sure when I'll be on tonight, but come craft, chat, or relax with me @ princeperipastille!

Naka Kon 2026 was a success!! Photos coming soon: I have to grab them from Discord and photoshoot postings later. If I do this again, I should definitely stay on-site to avoid parking hassles and costume change difficulties. I even managed to get my duck onesie Lucifer in and handed out ducks!

My Naka-Kon 2026 lineup, plus a backup onesie/night/comfy cosplay! I haven't been since 2022(?), and I'm hoping it's as much fun as I remember pre-COVID. I decided to give it another try last month, and bought my ticket last week. I'll try to not get overwhelmed and hide or leave early this time.

The third outfit for this weekend is - undecided! I have a few concepts to work with, and I have to get packed up by tomorrow morning to carpool. So, here's what we've got! 1. Biblically accurate casual wear with eyeball earrings and spiked halo 2. Sweet pink Lolita 3. Duck Lucifer 4. Teddy Lolita

The second outfit for this weekend is Alice in Wonderland themed! Vaguely Mad Hatterish. I have to choose one of two shirts - I think the grey print has more dimension to it. So far, I've got one of these two shirts, the collar, shorts, tights, shoes, and this custom burned hat! Gotta find a coat!

Two shirts and a detachable collar - one shirt is grey with ruffles and a rosette print, the other is white and flowy. The collar is black with bunny ears, card designs, and other Alice in Wonderland imagery.

Alice in Wonderland printed tights in beige, giving a tattooed look, with matching red heels. The heels have bows, straps, cards, and wooden looking platforms.

Red hat hanging from a macrame hanger. A pocket watch and cards are burned on the very top, and the side says "We're all mad here" with a top hat and another watch.

The item that inspired the look/the eyes/the accessories/the outfit I'm planning a Gengar/Mega Gengar themed outfit to wear at a three day fair this weekend! I've done a magical girl witch Sylveon, and I feel Gengar would be best styled somewhere between Hex Trainer and a witch. Makeup pics soon!

Purple Switch 2 case with red Gengar eyes and a squishmellow Gengar keychain

Red and black mini sclera eye contacts in their case

Accessories on a red sheet - black lacy gloves, black ruffled headband with horns, Gengar knee socks, bat wing sunglasses, pocket watch, and an apothecary/potion belt

Mirror selfie with a purple button up shirt, corseted black mermaid style skirt, black cardigan, pointy black boots, and the Gengar themed Switch case

I'm proud of everyone in my small-ish town that showed up today. There were a lot more people than I expected, and even more who honked or waved or cheered as they drove by. It feels good to know that fellow residents won't turn a blind eye, or condone fascism and cruelty.

When you say "the link between Tylenol & autism is unproven," you're saying "this link isn't proven, but it could be, because autism is a disease and can & should be cured if we just understand what causes it." Stop pathologizing neurodivergence so you can avoid embracing neurodivergent folks.

This first week or so with the new pack has been very good to me! I also got a shiny Gabite and some full art cards, including the three star Suicune EX with the cutscene. Life on the other hand, is not so good to me right now. I caught COVID for the first time, and I'm in quite a bit of pain.

First Pokemon game + starter I still remember that my level 60-70 Empoleon was replaced with a level 100 Empoleon in the 5th grade. I did not ask him to do this, we just needed to swap some Pokemon for Pokedex/trade evolution purposes. That's not the baby I raised from level 5, Joseph.

I didn't know that today is International Cat Day! Here are some of my favorite photos of my lovely gremlins, Squirt (orange) and Waffle (not orange). I can't imagine my life without them, and I hope they both know they're dearly loved and cherished. May they live long, happy, healthy lives.
