Today’s tip… Released today by multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, composer, lyricist and producer Frank Blades following over a year of singles releases, all 7 of which are included. Modern, melodic guitar-led prog rock interspersed with some nice synth-driven sequences. 👍 🎶

Not sure how I managed this, but tonight’s gig at Bath was in my calendar for tomorrow (my fault, no doubt). It was only when I got the Ticketmaster reminder at home just before 6pm I realised. Oh well … a quick drive along the A431 and a rushed Burger King later and I’m here.

Now playing… Excellent second album by the French new-prog outfit led by guitarist, singer, and songwriter Claude Segalin, re-formed in 2017 after a 40 year hiatus. Lovely laidback feel throughout, very much in the style of Dave Gilmour’s work with Pink Floyd. Worth a listen.
