Apart from some intractable haters, she's almost universally liked/loved. IMO it's partly because she's never lost her child-like innocence. Not naivety, but the innocence that allows one to be universally happy and friendly. To truly love everyone they meet. I've met just one like her in my life.

Couldn't accompany SWMBO and daughters back when "The Help" came out. This evening SWMBO saw that it was on Hulu, and switched it on. It was an absolutely marvelous film and it infuriated me. Infuriating because I spent a few years in the deep south in the mid 70s...and the depiction is accurate.
