Congratulations to our PhD student Daniel presenting his first poster at the International Workshop on Clinical Pharmacology of #HIV, #Hepatitis, and Other Antiviral Drugs... his work evaluating the readability of the PrEP Drug Interactions site, which is aimed at a lay audience.

This Saturday, we will be at Liverpool's Pride Expo as part of the @liverpooluni.bsky.social stall, telling people about our new PrEP website, which gives easy-to-understand info about safely taking other medicines and drugs alongside PrEP. prep-druginteractions.org
Leaflet for the website. Two people look confused about taking a blue pill (PrEP). Text reads: Taking PrEP? Visit prep-interactions.org Check if it's safe to take with other medicines, HRT, herbals, chems & more! A free resource from the University of Liverpool. A traffic light logo demonstrates the three levels of advice about medicines: Red: do not take together. Amber: Talk to your PrEP prescriber Green: OK to take together.

All set up for the BHIVA/BASHH conference in Liverpool. If you're attending, come along and say hello and give your feedback about the new website #bhivabashh26 @bhiva.bsky.social @bashhuk.bsky.social

This new website allows you to check if PrEP medicines might interfere with the way other medicines work (or if other medicines may affect how PrEP medicine works). More details about the website can be found at prep-druginteractions.org/site_news/1
