Good idea, but nothing seems to touch them. It's not backfaces either; I went with mesh circle billboards instead of spheres. The issue goes away when zooming in. Tried a whole buncha shit, a few different ways to do the shader, but they just look SO BAD in Eevee. 🤔

Took me WAY TOO LONG to realize you can import VIDEOS as planes in blender, which just opened the fucking floodgates for me to try more ambitious VFX because it's so fast to iterate in! Literally all you need is the "Images as Planes" addon, and pay attention to the Material > Shader options!
