(Just to be sure, I know + agree that Trump + co are fascists. We just have to be careful with how we define the word).

predictablesloth @predictablesloth.bsky.social · 26/04/2025

Basing our arguments in fact will get us much further---we can't just SAY that they're fascist, we have to demonstrate WHY. As always, think critically + cross-check your sources. Vive la résistance! #uspolitics

To fight the current gov, we need know how to correctly define it as a fascist regime, rather than throwing the word around without recognizing its weight. Truth trumps misinformation (which includes the culture war-era tactic of thoughtless, means-to-an-end arguing we're used to). #uspolitics

Donald Trump wants to deport millions. He has no plans to lower the cost of groceries. He is gearing up to implement a dangerous agenda and distract you by extending the TikTok ban. Don’t fall for it.

Yes the breakdown of cultural walls between the Chinese and American peoples is great! Just please think critically when comparing govs: they do not have free speech or protest rights. We should work to establish secure + open lines to communicate---find ways around the Great Firewall. #TikTokBan

Don't let Donald Trump extending the TikTok ban distract you from the fact that his Administration is about to conduct mass deportations across America in a matter of days.

When it comes to organizing in the US in the coming years, I think following the C.R. Movement's model would be most effective: specific organizations for education and awareness, legal/financial support, and for efficiently organizing nonviolent demonstrations. We need to get moving asap.

Kathryn Hahn did a phenomenal job in Agatha All Along. We’re so proud of her for changing the game. The fact that she got nominated for a Marvel project at the Golden Globes is a testament to her performance. Agatha Harkness, you will always be famous. 💜 #AgathaAllAlong #GoldenGlobes

Rest in peace, Jeff Baena. Remember to give Aubrey and the couple's families privacy and respect: don't leave messages, stalk their accounts, or go up to them in public. And don't speculate. Let them grieve. This is one of the worst things anyone can go through. #jeffbaena #aubreyplaza
