I think a lot about how here in the northeast not only do a lot of people sub/unconsciously think this, but in many towns, it /is/ the only identity, a de facto segregation. The ubiquity of whiteness is a root assumption of much of Northern New England "leftism" 😔

I have no idea how anyone is expected to answer on the spot from memory where they were on a specific date years ago. There's like ten days in my entire life I could possibly answer that for and they all have to with birth, death, or marriage.

I'm not a strict pacifist and think there are very valid reasons for nations to invest in domestic defense and related industries, and there is certainly a link between defense spending and the economy, but it will never cease to shock me reading folks who walk the dangerous line of trying
