Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his historic I Have A Dream speech at the March on Washington 62 years ago today. Today and every day, we honor him and all those who demanded an end to racial segregation when they marched all those years ago. Our fight is far from over and we're not slowing down.
Black and white image of Martin Luther King, Jr. wearing a suit and waving to a crowd. On top of the image there is a quote reading "We have also come to this hallowed spot to remind America of the fierce urgency of now. This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy.”
