Just last night Smith doubled down in front of a live YYC audience claiming immigrants to AB have driven up HC and education costs. Premier, TFWs are single status and don’t have families with them! The bulk of immigrants come here to work and not to mooch. Facts matter! #ABpoli

Was in the audience for Paul Wells Road Show in YYC last night. Interviews included Daniel Smith. Heard her spin tall tales about cost of immigrants to AB’s social supports and what she's doing to strengthen confederation. Audience was polite but not onside with her claims and ideology IMO. #ABpoli

Recent bursts of community opposition to proposed AI data centre projects in Grande Prairie, Olds, Rocky View County, and Sturgeon County suggest that skepticism of these projects spans the partisan divide, something that feels increasingly rare in today’s politics. This is an issue to watch.

Based on what’s in the story, this website shouldn’t even have cost $50k, let alone $300k. That’s 600 hours of work if everyone was making $500 an hour. And to only get 40k visits? That’s $7.5 a click, an absolutely horrible ROI. $300k should get you a website, social, ad spending, and more.
