In case anyone missed my little X-Files point and click daydream

Mulder, Scully, Skinner, and the Lone Gunmen, all drawn in a cartoony style.

Imagine if you will: a five act point-and-click where you switch between Mulder and Scully depending on what kind of clues and puzzles you're working with. The Lone Gunmen get their own episode during Act 4 but they all move together like a single character. Tone is 70% comedy 30% paranormal horror.

I think that every candidate should have background checks. Not just the FBI type, but a look into things said and done, or accused of said or done. Tired of candidates with fraud & sexual assault accusations

When they swap people for machines, I tend to go where there are still people. If that means I walk in rather than drive thru or simply choose somewhere else to go, that's how I make my feelings known.

To the extent SCOTUS is articulating a principle (other than letting the GOP have its way in election cases), it's: a state can do whatever it wants at the last minute to change the rules of an election, & courts can do nothing about it — even with evidence of intentional discrimination.

SCOTUS will allow Alabama to use a congressional map that a lower court found intentionally discriminated against Black voters. A Court so fundamentally hostile to the rights of minority voters places it at odds with democracy itself. This is Chief Justice John Roberts’ legacy.

Like many of us, I've read about AI detectors and what speech patterns give it away. It seems most of the giveaway is related to the formality or the proper use of certain punctuation. These patterns remind me of popular, convoluted biz-speak. Tbc

There is no clearer case for the necessity of Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 than how quickly southern states moved to eliminate Black-majority districts and dilute Black power after SCOTUS eroded Section 2. SCOTUS’s reasoning was immediately disproven by reality.
