I've been denied disability again, and the situation hasn't changed in two years, and I don't even have HRT anymore or an official documentation change. I'm only afloat because of you and available family, who I'm doing my best not to drain. I have housing assistance, but they can only do so much.

On another vacation! This is just a short one back to my home island. One day, really. I’ll meet an online friend that I never met in person before, and stay with a friend’s mom and mom’s friend to gain a connection in the area. Hopefully there will be lots of nostalgic places driving around.

As someone who has been on the receiving end of a dog pile, I can definitely see how someone could refer to the experience as “being in the torment nexus”. I don’t know whether I’ve actually heard it in the wild or not, but it’s not as much of a stretch as everyone seems to be making it out to be.
