A detail from when the UK allowed the Skydance merger that I haven't seen get brought up: Paramount made a legally binding contract with the UK government to keep Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon's "distinct editorial identity".

A group of broadband and cable TV companies have filed a petition asking the FCC to reconsider its decision to eliminate the broadcast TV ownership cap in August; the group says the FCC exceeded its authority because the cap was established by Congress.

Technically Skydance doesn't have to spin off those networks unless they violate the Cable Channels section of the settlement that says they have to negotiate rates for WB and Paramount Channels separately. If they don't cure the violation in 6 months, and a court agrees, then they have to spin off.

Watching The Halloween Tree on MeTV Toons. Man, this network needs a better grade of commercials. Because I just saw an ad pitching a coin with TFG's repugnant mug on it. The gall of selling a $1 coin for $10. It's not even worth a penny, which the same company sold 50 cents for $10. Repugnant

You know what? I don't think MeTV Toons should have opened their Spooktacular event this strongly. Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School, The Halloween Tree, and the original Bunnicula the Vampire Rabbit? Peak Halloween seasonal fare.

The Halloween Tree (Hanna-Barbera, 1993)

I don't see it being a problem because it's from the 90s. MeTV Toons is airing Reindeer in Here this year and that's from 2022.

Hasbro Legends is once again airing the 2025 Re-Ignition version of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers this morning this time starting from the beginning. However, Plex is showing Episode 3 later today will be the 2010 Reversion again. I think whoever at Hasbro does the schedule is mixing up the two.
