Wooooo! MeTV TOONS is now available OTH in ABQ as channel 12-5!!! One more tiny reason to ditch my cable service. Also means I can have the TV in the garage tuned to cartoons while I work.

I am pleasantly surprised to see that, on its 3rd week on a Tuesday at a 4:35 PM showing, the theater for Coyote Vs Acme was still around 1/3 full. Maybe it's an Albuquerque thing. We gotta watch our guy.

Okay, I finally got into the LOTR world and read The Hobbit for my neighbor who wanted to know what I thought of Tolkien's writing style. I turned around and gave him Brian Jacques' Redwall to read, citing similarities. He liked it.

Anyone else notice how Foghorn Leghorn has been getting larger and larger? In Space Jam he was normal size. In LT:BIA he was about human height. In Space Jam 2 he was... considerable. Now in Coyote vs Acme he's gigantic!

I give it 8/10: my level-headed opinion. The story is kinda weak with pointless gratuities, and I hoped for more depth with Road Runner but he's pretty one-dimensional. That aside, it's a Wile E. movie. It's all about Wile E.. There's some hoomans, but it's clearly coyote-centric. Soft brown.

Oh, I am SO HAPPY right now. Just had fresh fried catfish for the first time since I moved down here 11 years ago, and all because I decided to go to Chēba Hut on Saturday and overheard people talking about places with locally sourced fish. Dang. Fox needs to go back to that place.

Nothing special, just a 3oz/90ml plastic cup with engraved graduation marks for both oz and ml and a pour spout, but TRY AND FIND A PLACE THAT SELLS THESE!! I got this from a science kit. Incredibly useful for measuring plant nutrient. Finally found a plastics company that had a similar product.

Started using Supermium last week because I still run Windows 7. Since then Windows has crashed like...4 times? I'd like to blame it on my PC's memory going bad (seen it before in other PCs) but I can't help noticing the timing coincidence.

Yeah I'm old school and still do SMS messages. With Verizon and now Samsung abandoning their message apps I'm looking into what's out there. I'm pretty no-frills: I like to use wallpapers and translucent bubbles but WOW there are some apps that go crazy fancy on graphics. Makes me feel kinda old.

While tagging "Mating Season" for future viewing last night "Fixed" popped up so decided to watch it after hearing all the hoopla about it. The excessive cursing was funny at first but just got old, and it did get a bit boring in spots. Still, a fun furry movie to see once or twice but that's it.
