Yknow what I love so much about The Expanse? Not just the fact that the protagonists aren't babies in their teens or tweens but are in fact fully grown adults, some with children. Not just the strict adherence to physics even with some nudges of sci-fi, and adherence to physics even WITH the sci fi.

replaying the intro to Quantum Break, and it already feels like the test run for what Control would be. There's the nod at Max Payne, at Alan Wake, and then the explicit reference to the FBC will come down the line. But the gameplay itself feels like the rough version of what Control became.

for what it's worth, i do like games where you have to clean up an area that's gone all wrong, going in as a nobody and becoming a Somebody. But I want to play more games where you work in the time where It All Goes To Shit. A prequel to the Division where you play as the First Wave, for example.

Re: Iron Nest - there is no way to depict war in a truly anti-war way. Every depiction of violence is in some way glorifying it, even if that depiction is pure critique and abhorrence. Many people are anti-war and anti-violence, whether they realize it or not. Sometimes they need a call-out.
