Just been up to Melbourne & back. Gosh! A) surprised just how chaotic #VLine services were! Yet, people were SO blasé about delays, uncertainties, changes, etc; and. B) probably 93% of travellers were on their phones, either streaming to headphones and/or watching! Seriously felt I’m missing out?

Apparently the Queensland police are surprised that people don't trust them. As someone who is old enough to remember how they were politicised by previous LNP regimes, I do not wonder why! Why is ‘sexism’ a one way thing? Or is it? Serving a customer, with female by my side & he tells a ribald joke. I look at her, but no response. I tell him to leave. Come back, to hear her expressing faux shock, to another customer. Then another customer berates me about the sexism. Is it so fraught?

I’m not sure what the message is here? Either, taking (& celebrating) drugs is not as dangerous as we were told, as the highest members of society do! Or, say ‘no’ to drugs - look at all the damage done by these drug users!

Ever cooked goat? Just did leg (2kg) & it worked out. Started it at 180c & the dish broke! Moved to another (thankfully) & did it at ~140c, for two hours, turning & basting it every 30 mins. Rested under alfoil & then sliced it. As this was mostly an extrapolation, I’m impressed that it tasted good.
