The issue had nothing to do with foolishly not realizing I put the chrome on mute on the task bar where the volume is right there for anyone to see, it was more of an internal site issue that I had to navigate on the top bar with the two lines with the circle in opposite directions

I found the issue as to why the sound was out on the retro cc website. I got the sound back on and can keep playing, managing to fly out of Tatooine and on to the Death Star in Super Star Wars, which is where I'll pause and pick up next time

Next Game: Super Star Wars (New Hope version) on the SNES! I figured they'd pull the ol' you can't have a complete game unless you play this game on the highest difficulty level, so I set it to Jedi. Wow, this game makes you feel that difficulty level.

Some obvious errors in a video game adaptation of Empire Strikes Back on the NES, like Boba Fett never gets destroyed until Return of the Jedi, and Luke doesn't rescue Leia by himself, but those are understandable because there was no Return of the Jedi on the NES
