3/6 Our findings? -> For all the headlines about the Corridor, actual investment figures from the EU (the focus of our paper) are hard to pinpoint. -> The success of the corridor depends on traffic volumes, and there are quite a few questions, especially on the greenfield Lobito railway line

1/6 We read a LOT to get to this piece of work. The Lobito corridor is often referred to in terms of geostrategic competition with the US-EU on the one side and China on the other, where this rivalry neatly coincides with African economic development interests. Or does it?
