lrp I don't use that specific brush, but I have been using her procreate sakura micron brushes I used microns for my first webcomic, and the scanned pen look of those brushes felt very nostalgic, so surely her other brushes are good.

lrp I didn't have the animated pixel background... I drew mushrooms on MSpaint and tiled it. Also not geocities. Once upon a time, there existed generous webmasters who would grant others a subdomain and some of their webspace for free if you asked nicely...

Raise your hands if you, as a pre-teen, learned basic-ish HTML coding with the help of the internet of eld for the sole purpose of making a geocities webpage with animated pixel galaxy backgrounds

I watched many episodes in the PH as a tiny child! And I still haven't finished it lmao. But that OP is iconic to my childhood though lol

our last comic page is (checks notes) still banned on webtoon! so what a perfect time to share this comic we made earlier this year about online censorship (webcomic edition). xtramagazine.com/culture/onli...

I'm lowering the ambition bar for upcoming events, so I'll be less stressed about making the new things in time. Like, I'm still planning on putting out a new thing for each event, but my page count will be much lower. feeling more positive about things already! :D

So, I replaced a 20ish-page comic with a plan to make one of those fold-one-sheet zines for my OCs instead. I want to hit up a local studio with a riso printer to experiment, but if not I still have the option of fighting with my resident color laser printer.

They gave me a lollipop and a fancy chocolate after my shots like a child because I got dizzy (unfortunately a normal thing for me).

They're somewhat tolerable if I drown them with milk/coffee so that's sounds like it would work! I'm planning to just consume them with ice cream though. Similar concept, basically add more sugar.

I baked cookies... but they're legit salty because I used salted butter and forgot to omit the salt from a recipe that called for unsalted butter. 😂

Once upon a time, I got an ice cream maker solely because they weren't selling hojicha ice cream down here anywhere, so I would make it myself. 5+ years later, finally one of the grocery stores sells it in pints YAY!! I no longer need to churn cream for a craving. #pompix

Hmmm, child version of Richard ToG? since we've known each other for a while due to Tales, but none of the older tales I knew of back then have a character that matches your vibe+aesthetic imo 🤣

Still trying to figure out how to work with nicer watercolor paper. I can layer and scrub so much more compared to cheap paper...??? Masking fluid also doesn't tear the surface? waow

Chonky mosquito inside my car while driving and ofc it spazzes on my windshield when it really not safe to attempt trying to smash while driving. But it was also very distracting, so either way it was not safe. My work commute is long too. 🫠 Anyway I survived (but so did the mosquito...)

HMmm it feels like cheap watercolors don't work as well with nice paper

000

pomps @pomps.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Yeah I've only used cheapo paper and mid-grade(?) ones... but how will I know what quality feels like if I never use it 🫠 If I mess up one sheet first, maybe it'll get easier? 😂

000

pomps @pomps.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

I want to draw/paint but the price of this watercolor paper is creating a mental block that I can't figure out what I want to draw on it
