Sumi was Caolabhuinn's adopted mom. We called her Bitty Mommy (bc Sumi was huge in Spirit & energy but very bitty in size) She crossed the rainbow bridge in May of 2023 & Bean was with her in the last moments. This is a big reason I support @wilsonforseattle.bsky.social Katie has a plan& a history of demonstrated solidarity for the houseless people in our city. Harrell has swept more people than any other mayor, including Greg Nickels who Nickelsville was named in protest of. #WilsonForSeattle

Honorable Mayor Bruce Harrell,
We are writing in support of SHARE/WHEEL's emergency need for public land for Tent City 3 and Tent City 4. Both tent cities must move within the next few weeks and neither encampment has an invitation to move to a piece of unused property. As you know, SHARE/WHEEL has been a leader in providing self-managed shelter in Seattle for decades. In fact, it's part of their organizations' mission to help solve homelessness.
SHARE/WHEEL is in need of continuing support from the city of Seattle, which has parcels of unused land which could host these two encampments. Your leadership in this situation could make a difference in the lives of the people in these much-needed encampments with shelter spots totaling 200. Please act quickly. Frost warnings are in the forecast tonight. Homeless people are safer together individually.
