Yes, I read it and Buttigieg was mentioned only once. Steve Zelin made no contribution to the Buttigieg campaign in 2019-20. Buttigieg ended his campaign in March, 2020. Here is the FEC report of Zelin’s contributions during that time period. What’s your point?

Here is a Forbes list of billionaires that contributed to Buttigieg’s campaign. Note that the three you listed are not in that list. Nor do they appear to have contributed to his campaign on the Open Secrets website. Please provide proof of your assertion of “hundreds of thousands of dollars”.

It *is* difficult to read the source you provided since it has continually timed out. Plus, it looks as if the link you included is for the 2024 campaign. Buttigieg ended his campaign in March, 2020. He was serving as USDOT Secretary in 2024.

Buttigieg did not take donations from PACs during his 2020 campaign. That fact has been stated on numerous occasions, but extreme leftists & DSA members refuse to believe. I have personally sent this information on multiple posts. They continue to lie their hatred is delusional.

Purity tests indeed. Efforts to paint Buttigieg with that broad brush have fallen flat time & time again.

Pete Buttigieg addressed this issue when attacked by Elizabeth Warren on the debate stage. The candidate who went on to take 14 MILLION dollars from a PAC funded by a wealthy person when her funds dried up toward the end of her campaign.

PolReader @polreader.bsky.social · 27/09/2026
You realize that many grassroots supporters ended up donating the max over the total of monthly donations so it’s not a stretch that thousands & thousands donated that much. It’s ridiculous to assume that a $2800 donation would come with special favors unless you’re trying to spin a tale.

I thought you lied about the corporations that you thought contributed PAC $$$ to Buttigieg, but evidently you were *not* capable of comprehending what you read. Sharpen those comprehension skills if you want to play in this sandbox again. Pitiful effort to discredit Buttigieg. 😂

Buttigieg did not accept money from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee…because they did not contribute to campaigns until 2022. He ended his campaign in March, 2020. *Individuals* associated with AIPAC, such as employees, were reported as donating the amount of… $50. ZERO from the org.

Back then he had a plan for taxing the wealthy.

PolReader @polreader.bsky.social · 22/09/2026
Elizabeth Warren *finally* published a plan providing a transition period similar to Buttigieg’s. Even AOC acknowledged that offering a public option wasn’t a “nightmare”.

What was his answer to this question *he* asked? Would union members lose healthcare coverage they negotiated in lieu of wages? How would those lost wages be restored? Would they not have an *option* of choosing the government program?

Buttigieg is one of very few prominent Democrats who voiced opposition to Israeli policies during the 2020 campaign. Note the organization this screen grab came from. Again, you have been duped.

PolReader @polreader.bsky.social · 19/09/2026
We have Americans who have supported the people of Israel for decades and contribute to Pro-Israel lobby groups. They also contribute to political candidates, but would never condone what Netanyahu is doing. That’s the people @trackaipac.com report.

PolReader @polreader.bsky.social · 19/09/2026
You’ve been duped. The AIPAC organization did not contribute to campaigns until 2022. Buttigieg ended his campaign in 2020. The donations that are attributed to AIPAC come from individuals donating to the Pro-Israel lobby.

Stop moving the goalpost. The discussion is about funding. Bernie accepted $63,000 from the Pro-Israel lobby and @trackaipac.com refuses to report it. They lie by omission and try to hoodwink the naive. They got called out for being inconsistent in their accusations.

Why does @trackaipac.com give Pete a red meme and Bernie a green one? Bernie took money in 2020 from the Pro-Israel lobby also. You are basing your decisions on a group that lies to you.

When the Public Religion Research Institute polled 22,111 they reported that… The overwhelming majority of religions support same sex marriage. The ones that are below 50% still have at least a third that support - with the exception of Jehovah’s Witness. So attitudes are changing.

Buttigieg appeared on Colbert while Transportation Secretary in his official role as a cabinet officer and spoke at length about LGBQT rights. Did his comments offend you in this interview? Was he ambiguous, fake, conceding in that interview on national TV in front of millions?

Let’s put those donations in perspective. When Pete was attacked by Bernie for receiving contributions from billionaires, he responded: "Bernie is pretty rich and I would happily accept the contribution from him." Bernie’s net worth in 2019 was $2 Million. Pete’s was $150,000.

Bullshit. Buttigieg won a second term as mayor of South Bend with 80% of the vote, winning every district including majority-minority ones. At the end of his 8 year tenure a poll was conducted that revealed the overwhelming majority still supported him. You are lying.

Not true. Buttigieg fielded many issues that other Dem primary candidates wouldn’t dare talk about back in 2019. Many topics that are becoming mainstream today, seven years later.

He also knew that he needed a strong negotiator to lobby Congress to get that done. Pete had been on his radar for months during the primary and he was well aware of the changes that had been made in South Bend during Pete’s tenure as mayor. It was a natural fit in many aspects.

I have a theory about that and, of course, have no idea if it’s correct. Biden knew that a main piece of legislation he wanted to get thru was the infrastructure bill and that a big chunk of that $$$ would flow thru the USDOT. 1/3

Are you forgetting the Boeing debacle that happened during the Trump/Chao administration? The crashes that resulted in… TWO crashes that killed 346 people. October 29, 2018 March 10, 2019 FAA under Elaine Chao didn’t ground Boeing until 3 days later on March 13.

Also, the newly elected Mich primary winner, Abdul El-Sayed changed his stance on Medicare for All to mimic Buttigieg’s plan for “All Who Want It”. He realized that if the government kicks employees & Union members off their plans they negotiated in lieu of pay raises, there would be hell to pay.

PolReader @polreader.bsky.social · 28/08/2026
Buttigieg does not oppose Medicare for All. His plan for getting everybody universal healthcare is different…after all, AOC & Warren eventually came around to acknowledging that.

Did you read the list? You assume Biden made decisions on a daily basis concerning the multiple agencies within USDOT? If so, why did he have a USDOT Secretary. Your lack of understanding how a president utilizes cabinet officer abilities & skills is noted. It’s amazing you would share that.

Pete was only in office for four years, was tapped to carry the infrastructure bill thru Congress to the president’s desk and then approved over seventy thousand projects plus oversee them. He brings to the table the ability to utilize skill in passing legislation…
