Added a special bullet point to Orbiter's pricing page to make it clear this is not just about features. It's about building something different and doing it independently.

I'm coming home, y'all. My site started on 11ty, then I built my own SSG. Now, I'm coming back.

This is the source of my username and web domain. I took back the concept of mind pollution and made it my own. But shoutout to Captain Planet for having this episode and putting the idea in my head back when I was in elementary school. theveryspecialblog.com/2015/09/23/c...

This is the ongoing refrain I hear as more and more people because web developers with the help of AI. It's why @stevedylan.dev and I started Orbiter. No vc-backed hosting necessary. Just simple file uploads. Also, what a great talk/presentation from @sachajudd.com www.sachajudd.com/the-good-int...

If you ever wonder if @stevedylan.dev and I have skin in the game as we build Orbiter, this is Steve’s dashboard of his own sites hosted on Orbiter. Have a static/SPA site or app? Give us a shot. orbiter.host

Of the customers signing up to Orbiter, the most common named previous hosting provider is Vercel. This is not surprising. We started Orbiter in direct response to our own frustration with Vercel and Next.js.

This is a publicly traded company. This is not a startup and it hasn’t been for a long time. This type of statement reeks of tech bro bullshit.

So excited to see Orbiter in the 11ty docs. I've been a huge fan of 11ty since it was first created. Thanks for including us @zachleat.com and crew!

It's not rocket fueled growth you see with VC-backed startups, but the slow and steady growth of true fans is powered by quick responses and support. That's what @stevedylan.dev and I are focused on with Orbiter. orbiter.host #BuildInPublic

Here's one reason why IPFS is so great. Building version history for orbiter.host was so easy because of IPFS's native properties.
A UI screenshot of version history support in Orbiter where users can choose previous versions of their site to preview and rollback to.

I went through a phase where I would collect and flip old Nintendo products, especially Famicom games and systems. I was just cleaning out my office closet and found a bunch of Super Famicom games as well as two unopened Famicom Disk System games. Pretty fun!

Pretty great to see the Bluesky/atproto team preaching what I’ve been telling people in the IPFS world forever. Encrypted data on a public network should still be considered public, not private.
