Varroa control doesn't just help #honeybees, it helps other #pollinators too. Controlling #varroa lowers #DWV (deformed wing virus) among honeybees and there is less spread of DWV to other insects. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/42772764/

Last orders for nectar! The clustered, globe-shaped flowers of ivy provide a great source of nectar and pollen in late summer and early autumn. This plant is buzzing with life, including a small copper butterfly that stopped by to join the feast, and ivy bees which mainly feed on this plant 🐝.

A bumblebee can only fly for about 40 minutes between feeding. But we've lost 97% of our wiłdflower meadows. So each nectar-rich flower you plant in a windowbox or your garden or community green space could be the pit stop that saves a bee 🐝
