Oh what's this? Could this be a teaser for the next chapter of A Lightning Romance? 👀 @missusb.bsky.social

Article from The Daily Prophet

Headline: Flourish and blotts opening faces delays amidst new ownership

Flourish & Blotts will once again delay its re-opening.
The bookstore was meant to open in August, in time for the new school year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. However, the initial opening was delayed due to unforeseen renovations needed to be made to the building.
“Due to some issues with staffing and stocks, we feel it best to delay the opening once more,” said MI CEO Draco Malfoy in the announcement made last Monday. “We appreciate the public’s patience. A new Flourish & Blotts awaits and we look forward to welcoming you soon.”

the reason why necromancy is bad is because youre creating a mimicry of life through puppeting the image of a dead person. CGI or AI replicas of dead people are doing exactly the same thing as necromancy, just less smelly. in this essay

Guilty Pleasure culture at work. There should be no guilt surrounding anything that makes you happy. Cringe is a construct.

Also YES I think any fandom should be able to meaningfully critique their idol

This is REALLY good insight. I think I agree. And it's also why I think her earlier albums have more of an impact for me personally. I think the same about Midnights, where you have something like Antihero but also Would've Could've Should've.

sometimes discourse completely ruins a perfectly good fandom and it’s sad to see

Ahhh i see! Thank you! I included cooler for the spectrum of it, since we mostly use icebox as another word for a cooler. So when I read "icebox" and characters getting groceries from it I get confused.

Hey so ESL question: what is the difference for you guys between a cooler, an icebox and a refrigerator?

Putting in the new fuel pump now, so everyone cross their fingers that this fixes our car! My husband is a delivery driver, which means we have zero income without a working vehicle. I need to pay my dad back for the fuel pump asap; if you can help me do that, thank you. ko-fi.com/sparksofstar...

Glad I decide to reread The Love Hypothesis before watching the movie later. I think I completely missed how well Olive is written as a demisexual.

- I think I AM a writer who isn't writing and that's why I've been feeling like shit.

- I am definitely more motivated to work towards finishing one of my stories sooner rather than later.

- Came back today and had my books signed plus a couple more and had those signed too. It feels wonderful to be in the company of other writers who want to write, and don't make you feel ashamed of what you're writing.
